The 15th Annual NARMS Spring Conference will be held at the Saddlebrook Resort in Tampa, FL featuring a Retail Industry Keynote Address from Burt Flickinger, III, a widely known and recognized leading expert on all aspects of the wholesaling and retailing industry. Flickinger will address “The Future of Marketing, Retailing and Communicating with the Consumer” at the NARMS conference which launches three days of interactive meetings among retail service providers, manufacturers, retailers and associated industry suppliers.

NRFs (National Retail Federation) Annual Convention & Expo at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City was Retail's BIG Show, with an emphasis on "Retail Refocused" to learn from retail's savviest operators sharing their vision and reengineered plans. Natural Insight was impressed at the increased activity this year and enjoyed the interaction with the many companies that attended.
Natural Insight's President and CEO Stefan Midford headlined a panel discussion titled “From Acorn to Oak: Proven Strategies for Growing Your Technology Firm,” hosted by the Center for Innovative Technology. Speaking before a packed house of 85 entrepreneurs from throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area, Midford shared how he combined strategic planning, branding, marketing and PR to bootstrap his small start-up, Natural Insight, into national prominence (and in the process, attracted $1.2 million in Series A financing).
Sharing the stage with Midford were two individuals who have played key roles in the company's success: Jeff Lupisella, principal of the branding firm, Vizual, that Midford hired to overhaul and refine Natural Insight's branding and communication arsenal, and Rich Moore, president of a consulting practice that works with emerging growth companies and providers of SaaS solutions, who recently joined Natural Insight's Board of Advisors. Demand for the panel's insights and strategy tips was so great that registration was closed a week before the event, with 50 people on the wait list.
