More Control over Routing!

Routing Settings Available in Configuration Settings

You have access to the following Routing settings in your Configuration Settings' Routing folder:

1. Max Per Day Distance - Max number of miles/km allowable in a single day
2. Max Per Day Time - Max number of minutes a route can be for a given day
3. Max Per Leg Distance - Max distance a route can be for a given leg
4. Max Per Leg Time - Max number of minutes a route can be for a given leg
   
   

The benefit? Access to these settings gives you more control and autonomy to adjust Routing values to fit your needs when you need it. Since it's no longer necessary to contact your Natural Insight Account Manager to adjust these settings, you are free to change them at your convenience!

Provide Routing and Reimbursement Information to your Staff Members

To provide an explanation of your Routing policy, you have at your disposal the Routing Threshold Message which displays a message to staff members at the top of the Routing popup above the listing of the day's route.

In the Routing Threshold Message, provide any global Routing information to your staff such as:

• "You will not be paid for travel from your home to your first assignment of the day, nor from your last assignment of the day to your home." or
  
  
• "Routes are subject to up to 20 miles removed from the first and last legs of the trip. The mileage you are submitting now may not be the same as what you are paid."
  
  

The Routing Threshold Message (Phrase 4087) is accessed via Sitewide Labels at the bottom of the Sitewide Labels page (Administration > Sitewide Labels).

If you do not provide text in the Routing Threshold Message for a particular language of your account, no message will appear at the top of the Routing popup for that language login of your account:

Coming Soon: Global Routing API!

Stay on the lookout for information in coming weeks about the Natural Insight Global Routing API. All Routing data per route (with a route representing the itinerary of all assignments/visits within 1 day for a staff member) will be exposed via the API along with your account's individual settings for Routing rules, procedures and reimbursement policy.
