OVERVIEW
Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) are responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities in Target Accounts. SDRs will be partnered with an Account Executive and will be responsible for outbound prospecting and coordinating with their AE to build a pipeline of qualified leads and sales opportunities.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Generate new business opportunities to fuel the Natural Insight Pipeline
- Work closely and collaboratively with assigned Account Executive and Sales Management to develop targeted lists, call strategies, marketing campaigns and messaging to drive opportunities for new business
- Research and build new and existing accounts (i.e. adding contacts, sending emails, strategic calling)
- Conduct high level conversations with Senior Executives in Target and Prospect Accounts
- Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest in Natural Insight
- Manage leads and schedule qualified product demonstrations for Account Executive in order to reach performance based goals.
- Utilize Salesforce.com to manage, track, and report on all sales activities
- Attend and staff trade shows / in-person events
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous successful sales experience OR a strong interest in a selling role
- The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environment
- The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals
- The technical aptitude to master our CRM tool
- A keenly developed competitive nature
- A highly self-driven sense of motivation
- The ability to deal with objections
- A fanatical attention to detail
DESIRED
- An Associates or Bachelors degree in a business-related program
- Previous sales experience in which you demonstrated the ability to meet or exceed sales quotas
